Voice of Diplomacy Institute (VoDI)

Terms of Use

Effective Date: 5 September 2026

Last Updated: 5 September 2026

Welcome to the website of Voice of Diplomacy Institute (VoDI).

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the VoDI website and related online content, platforms, programs, and services.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. About VoDI

Voice of Diplomacy Institute (VoDI) is an independent think tank, research institute, diplomatic platform, and professional service organization.

VoDI’s activities may include research, policy analysis, diplomatic dialogue, professional training, fellowships, events, publications, advisory services, and other related activities.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use the VoDI website:

  • For lawful purposes
  • In accordance with these Terms
  • Respectfully and responsibly
  • Without interfering with the operation or security of the website
  • Without attempting unauthorized access to systems or information
  • Without using the website to distribute harmful, fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading material

VoDI reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where misuse of the website is reasonably suspected.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the content published on the VoDI website is owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by VoDI.

This may include:

  • VoDI name and logo
  • Text and articles
  • Research reports
  • Policy briefs
  • Publications
  • Graphics and designs
  • Photographs and videos
  • Training materials
  • Program materials
  • Website design and structure

You may view, download, or share VoDI materials for legitimate personal, educational, research, or professional purposes where permitted.

You must not reproduce, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or represent VoDI materials as your own without prior written permission.

Proper attribution should be provided when permitted VoDI materials are quoted or referenced.

4. Research and Educational Content

VoDI publishes research, analysis, commentary, educational materials, and policy perspectives.

Such content is provided for informational, educational, research, and professional purposes.

VoDI does not guarantee that every publication, analysis, projection, opinion, or recommendation will remain current or applicable to every situation.

Users should exercise appropriate professional judgment when relying on VoDI content.

6. User-Submitted Content

This website has no facility for publishing content submitted by users: there are no comments, no article or research submissions, and no way to send a proposal through it. What users submit is limited to enquiries, registrations, applications, and requests — made through the website’s forms, or by email to the Institute.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit it
  • The content does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights
  • The content is not knowingly fraudulent or misleading
  • The content does not contain unlawful or harmful material

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

By submitting an enquiry, registration, application, or request, you grant VoDI permission to use it for the purpose for which it was submitted, subject to any specific agreement or applicable privacy requirements.

7. Membership, Fellowship, Training and Events

Participation in VoDI memberships, fellowships, training programs, conferences, forums, and other activities may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, application procedures, fees, codes of conduct, or program-specific terms.

On this website, membership requests, training registrations, expert network applications, and requests for an event invitation are made through the forms provided; fellowship applications are made by email to the Institute. Any training fee is settled directly with the Institute — this website takes no payment.

Where additional terms apply, those terms will take precedence over these Terms of Use to the extent of any inconsistency.

VoDI reserves the right to accept, decline, suspend, or terminate participation in accordance with applicable program rules.

8. Professional Services

VoDI may provide professional services, advisory services, research services, training, consulting, strategic support, or other services.

Specific services may be governed by separate proposals, contracts, engagement letters, statements of work, or service agreements.

Where a separate agreement exists, that agreement will govern the specific professional engagement.

10. Accuracy of Information

VoDI makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information.

However, VoDI does not guarantee that all website content is:

  • Complete
  • Accurate
  • Current
  • Error-free
  • Continuously available

Information may change without notice.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the VoDI website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

VoDI does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or that the website will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoDI shall not be responsible for losses or damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the website
  • Reliance on website content
  • Technical interruptions
  • Third-party websites or services
  • Unauthorized access caused by circumstances beyond VoDI’s reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from their unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

14. Website Availability and Changes

VoDI may modify, suspend, withdraw, or discontinue any part of the website or its content at any time without prior notice.

VoDI may also update these Terms periodically.

The latest version will be published on the website.

15. Privacy

Your use of the VoDI website is also subject to the VoDI Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected and handled.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the legal entity operating the relevant VoDI website and services, unless otherwise required by applicable law or specified in a separate agreement.

Where VoDI operates across multiple jurisdictions, specific services or contractual relationships may be subject to separate governing-law provisions.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the VoDI Privacy Policy and any applicable program-specific or service-specific terms, constitute the general terms governing use of the website unless a separate written agreement applies.
