The VoDI fellowships are open to emerging diplomats, future leaders, and emerging aviation professionals with an interest in diplomacy, international relations, and aviation, leadership, and global cooperation.

Emerging Diplomats Fellowship (EDF)

An Emerging Diplomats Fellowship is one of the flagship programs of the Voice of Diplomacy Institute (VoDI). It is designed as a professional development and leadership fellowship, rather than simply training course. The program is an International fellowship models and it commonly combines practical experience, expert training, mentoring, networking and exposure to multilateral institutions.

The Fellowship identifies and develops promising young diplomats, foreign policy professionals, international relations graduates, civil servants, and emerging leaders seeking to build careers at the intersection of aviation, diplomacy, and international relations.
It provides participants with opportunities for professional development, practical learning, research, networking, diplomatic engagement, and exposure to international institutions and stakeholders.

Aviation Fellowship Program (AFP)

The Aviation Fellowship Program (AFP) is a flagship professional development initiative designed to prepare emerging leaders for careers and leadership roles across the aviation ecosystem.

The Aviation Fellowship develops emerging professionals by providing practical learning, research opportunities, mentorship, professional networking, and exposure to the aviation industry and diplomatic institutions.
It aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge, skills, and professional networks for careers in aviation, diplomacy, and international relations.

Women in Diplomacy & Leadership Fellowship

Emerging women diplomats, university students, young professionals, researchers, civil society leaders, and aspiring policymakers.

Develop participants' diplomatic, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Promote women's participation in foreign policy, international relations, and decision-making.
Strengthen knowledge of diplomacy, international law, peacebuilding, and global governance.
Connect fellows with experienced diplomats, ambassadors, researchers, and women leaders.
Encourage policy research, mentorship, and international professional networking.

02Prepare Your ApplicationPrepare the required application materials, which may include a CV, statement of interest, writing sample, and professional or academic reference, depending on the fellowship track.
03Submit Your ApplicationSubmit your completed application and supporting documents through the official application channel specified in the fellowship call. Applicants will receive confirmation of receipt.
04Selection ProcessApplications are assessed based on eligibility, qualifications, motivation, relevant experience, and potential contribution to the fellowship cohort.
05Join the FellowshipSuccessful applicants are formally admitted to the fellowship cohort and begin the programme through mentorship, learning, professional engagement, and fellowship activities.

Fellows, alumni & network

A fellowship does not end when the cohort does.

Fellows join a continuing community of practice: alumni stay connected to the Institute through the Diplomat Forum Initiative, contribute to research and dialogues, and mentor the cohorts that follow them.
