Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Directors

Today, the Board of Directors of Voice of Diplomacy Institute held its frist board meeting virtually. The meeting was productive, insightful and forward-looking providing an important opportunity for the Board of Directors to establish strong foundation for VoDI's governance, strategic direction and instituational development. The discussions focused on several key areas including: • VoDI’s organizational structure • Current programs and initiatives • Role and responsibilities of Directors • Expectations from each member • Governance and decision-making procedures During the meeting, the board also discussed the immediate priorities for the next 3 months. The board of directors also agreed on key priorities and actions to strengthen VoDI's programs, partnership, research, governance and overall instituational growth in the next 3 months. This inuguaral meeting marks an important milestone in VoDI's journey towards building a credible, and globally engaged think tank, research institute and professional diplomatic platform for diplomacy, aviation, climate and energy with the cross-cutting research & policy innovations
